At age 38, even LeBron James’ most ardent fans concede he’s lost a step and doesn’t have the energy he did when he was younger. What athlete does at that age?
He definitely has lost his touch from three-point range. The Los Angeles Lakers star shot only 32% from long range this season, his second-worst percentage since the 2007-2008 season.
That slump has carried over into the postseason. James had hit only 26% of his 80 attempts from long range heading into the Western Conference Finals against the Denver Nuggets.
Then, he missed his first 13 attempts from behind the arc in the series before finally hitting a couple of threes in quick succession late in the third quarter of Game 3.
James ended up hitting 3 of his 9 attempts in the Lakers’ 119-108 loss.
James had been so bad shooting the 3 that many fans mocked the shots he made. James’ struggles have been a hot topic in the Twitterverse the past couple of days.

Lebron James is not a 3-point shooter. For someone who is supposed to have a high basketball IQ, you would think King James and the Lakers would know this. Stop. Shooting. 3s!
