The Sacramento Kings pulled off a 110-107 road upset victory over the Phoenix Suns on Wednesday night, and they did so in thrilling fashion.
With 1.4 seconds remaining and the score tied 107-107, Harrison Barnes caught an inbounds pass and made a difficult three over Devin Booker to give Sacramento a buzzer-beating win.
Here’s how it looked and sounded on each team’s broadcast:

That’s a big-time shot from the 10-year veteran, who led Kings’ starters with 22 points (Buddy Hield dropped 26 off the bench).
Sacramento actually led this game by 10 points with under three minutes remaining, so Barnes saved the Kings from what would’ve been a pretty frustrating loss (even as eight-point underdogs). The Kings improve to 2-2 on the season and 2-0 on the road (they had an impressive 124-121 season-opening road victory over the Portland Trail Blazers).
The Suns, meanwhile, do not look like Western Conference defending champions in the early going. Phoenix is now 1-3 (and 0-2 at home), with their only win coming against a Lakers team that had an embarrassing loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder on Wednesday night. But, there’s still a long, long way to go, and the Suns will likely be fine.
