Tim Anderson is apparently having a tough time following his Saturday night fight with José Ramírez.
The Chicago White Sox shortstop fired off a series of profanity-laced tweets Sunday night, aimed at critics who’ve called him out or made fun of him for getting knocked down by the Cleveland Guardians star in a brawl during Saturday’s game.
The messages included “Keep kicking on me while I’m down,” “Been going through this **** for a min,” and “Who the **** gave losers opinions.”
Anderson appeared to have second thoughts about one tweet, deleting a message that read, “He got off me we ain’t tripping bout that … this **** bigger … we’ll catch up with em later.”

Both Anderson and Ramírez face multi-game suspensions after MLB officials sort everything out. The brawl stunned the baseball world. Ramírez and Anderson squared off after a play at second base, with Ramírez knocking the shortstop down with a right hand. Both benches and bullpens cleared, and it took 15 minutes to restore order.
In addition to Anderson and Ramírez, Guardians manager Terry Francona, third-base coach Mike Sarbaugh and closer Emmanuel Clase were ejected, along with White Sox manager Pedro Grifol.
The brawl also led to several surreal moments, such as Guardians radio announcer Tom Hamilton calling the fight with the gusto of a boxing announcer (“Down goes Anderson!”).
And in case you missed it, here’s the hilarious MLB.com 3D animated replay of the altercation.
To be honest, Twitter has been brutal to Anderson, with plenty of interesting memes.
MLB fans quickly responded to Anderson’s Twitter outburst. One fan included a screen shot of many of Anderson’s posts, with the comment, “Tim Anderson is going thru his Antonio Brown phase.”
Robin Ventura was a 6x GG winner 2x AS, but only remembered for getting his arse beat by Mr Ryan. Good luck with the rest of your career Tim Anderson.
