Major League Baseball closers typically choose a hyped-up, intimidating song to take the field when they’re called upon to close out a baseball game, but Los Angeles Dodgers closer Craig Kimbrel seems to be going with a completely different approach.
Recently, Kimbrel has changed his walk-out song to the ballad “Let It Go” from the iconic Disney movie Frozen, much to the delight of all the young girls in attendance.
Kimbrel took the field with an entirely straight face and was totally locked in as he went through his normal routine with the Disney song blaring in the background.
Naturally, those in attendance loved it, with several fans dancing and singing along to the song. The MLB world appreciated it as well, with many also pointing out that Kimbrel has yet to surrender a run since switching his walk-out song.

Kimbrel is not the only Major League Baseball player to make waves around the league with his walk-out song. Last month, New York Mets designated hitter Daniel Vogelbach caused quite a stir when he stepped up to the plate while “Milkshake” by Kelis played over the Citi Field PA system – much to the delight of the hometown crowd.
Fans come for the baseball, but they’re treated to some glorious walk-out songs. And I’m sure they aren’t complaining.
