New York Yankees outfielder Clint Frazier noticed a bug on the basepaths during Saturday night’s game against the Boston Red Sox at Fenway Park, and used his position card to move the bug into foul territory.

In a postgame press conference, Frazier said the bug’s “wing was busted” and looked like it was “in pain,” so he moved it away from first base as a baserunner in the fourth inning.

An inning later, perhaps it was good karma that helped Frazier crush a two-run homer to right-center field.

The Yankees won 8-0, with Frazier having a game-high three hits and three runs batted in, along with leading in the “bugs saved” statistical category.
