Taylor Swift Eras Tour – Arlington TX

On Friday night, global pop superstar Taylor Swift brought her Eras Tour to Cincinnati, Ohio where she performed in front of a sold-out crowd at Paycor Stadium – the home of the Cincinnati Bengals. But unfortunately for the Swifites in attendance, the Cincinnati Reds were playing a game against the San Diego Padres at Great American Ballpark right next door, and they weren’t exactly courteous to Swift or her fans.

During a particularly slow and quiet part of the Taylor Swift performance on Friday night – the Evermore era of her concert – the Cincinnati Reds completed a comeback victory over the San Diego Padres in the 11th inning as Spencer Steer hit a two-run walk-off home run to give the Reds a 7-5 victory.

And the Reds didn’t hold back the celebration. Following Steer’s walk-off home run, the Cincinnati Reds launched a flurry of fireworks. And unfortunately for the fans in attendance at Swift’s concert, those fireworks were loud enough to drown out Swift’s soft songs during her performance.

Thankfully for Swift and her fans, Saturday’s Reds game should not overlap with her second performance of the weekend as the game begins at 1:10 and Swift will not be on stage until 7:55 p.m.
