The Chicago Cubs are the prohibitive NL favorites but that hasn’t stopped them from having some fun as spring training winds down. Kris Bryant has already pranked an Arizona college team and now Joe Maddon has brought in a few fans of the team for a little, and we mean little, meet and greet…

Chicago Cubs, meet actual cubs. As in, 10-to-12 week-old baby bears.

Jason Heyward seems more comfortable with young cubbies than he did with Cardinals (or Braves for that matter).

The cubs had also apparently never been on grass before. They seem to be enjoying it.

But this little meet and greet didn’t come without a blooper or two, even if it’s the cutest possible blooper.

I bet many people would pee themselves meeting Anthony Rizzo. He’s a pretty big star for a pretty big club now.

Meeting baby cubs sounds like fun, but we should probably limit the number of MLB teams that get to meet baby versions of their mascots. We wouldn’t recommend letting baby tigers run wild or expecting baby giants not to destroy everything. Probably wouldn’t get the desired effect. And besides, what would a baby Brewer look like?
