While recent acquisition Andrew Heaney struggled in his debut with the New York Yankees — four home runs allowed in four innings — in a 7-1 loss to the Baltimore Orioles on Monday night, one character provided great entertainment for the fans at Yankee Stadium- in the form of a frisky feline.
A cat ran around the field at Yankee Stadium and caused a lot of trouble for stadium security, leading to a delay of more than three minutes in the bottom of the eighth inning. The cat showed off elite leaping ability (jumping onto the outfield wall with ease) and elusiveness.

Earlier this season, there was another cat on the field during a Colorado Rockies game at Coors Field, and there was even an opossum on the field during a Texas Longhorns college baseball game.
