While Aaron Judge is best known for his power, the New York Yankees superstar is a well-rounded player. During Saturday’s game against the Los Angeles Dodgers, Judge showed off his defensive skills — taking part of Dodger Stadium with him in the process.
With New York leading 5-3, Los Angeles’ J.D. Martinez came to the plate with a runner on and nobody out in the bottom of the eighth inning. Martinez sent a ball into right field and while it didn’t have the height to be a home run, it looked like an extra-base hit, which would have put the tying run on with nobody out. Judge, though, had other ideas.
Judge tracked the ball down, making a nice, running catch. Only, it was so much more than that.
In the process of making the catch, Judge crashed into the right field wall. The door to the visitor’s bullpen flew open. Judge briefly leaned against the wall before getting up and throwing the ball back into the infield.
Baseball fans were understandably buzzing about Judge’s all-time great catch.

Judge made an impact with both his glove and bat on Saturday night. He went 1-for-3 with a home run. The Yankees went on to defeat the Dodgers 6-3.
