It’s not all fun and games for everyone at the 2023 PGA Championship. Moving Day is in full swing at Oak Hill Country Club as the third round commenced Saturday morning. Not everybody is having an enjoyable day on the course, however, as one PGA Championship participant became irate and got involved in an incident.
Taylor Moore, who finished in the Top 40 at the Masters Tournament in April, experienced a rough morning. Moore expressed himself in a way that only a golfer would understand: He picked up his driver off the green and chucked it!
He hurled the thing in one direction, but it sprung off the grass and landed in another order.
That’s a pretty animated response after a tough day on the links. It’s a reaction that some golf fans could respect and relate to.
However, some golf fans just couldn’t quite level with him. Many sympathized with the caddy and said they would have told Moore to get the club instead.
Oh lads I'd leave the driver there if I was the caddy https://t.co/Rca6irdsXl

Meanwhile, Big Randy of No Laying Up had a much stronger stance, encouraging more to be on that side of the fence.
Sometimes actions lead to hot debates. So, fair or foul? Should Taylor Moore have thrown his club like that? Should he have had the caddy take it, or should he have grabbed it himself?
We’ll never know now, but both sides seemed split on the incident at the 2023 PGA Championship.
