Last weekend, many online speculated that United States President Donald Trump was dealing with some sort of health emergency, as he hadn’t made any public appearances in a few days and had nothing scheduled for the holiday weekend, which many found to be uncharacteristic of him.
However, it turns out the President, who is 79, was simply enjoying the holiday weekend playing golf, one of his favorite pastimes. Trump took to his Truth Social to boast about spending his weekend golfing with legendary NFL coach Jon Gruden.
“While Democrats swore Trump was having a medical emergency, he was out golfing with Jon Gruden! He’s at the TOP OF HIS GAME!” political commentator David J Freeman posted on Twitter along with a screenshot of Trump’s Truth Social post.
People reacted to the news on social media.
“They really should just be ignored at this point, shouldn’t they? That is, of course, unless we are putting them in handcuffs and locking them up for treason or obstruction,” one person wrote on Twitter.
“Looks like Trump’s backswing is better than the Left’s predictions!” someone else added.
“Democrats hate the facts. They love lies and propaganda,” another person wrote.
It’ll be interesting to see how people pivot after finding out the President is still in good health.
