Over the past few years, former United States President Donald Trump has been a prominent supporter of the Saudi-backed LIV Golf league, hosting five of the league’s events on his golf courses over LIV Golf’s first two years. But when LIV Golf announced the majority of its 2024 schedule this week, not a single Trump golf course was on the list.

On Wednesday, the Washington Post reported that Donald Trump had been snubbed by the league in their initial announcement.

“The former president had been perhaps LIV’s highest-profile booster throughout its first two years, and his courses have hosted five LIV events, including the season-ending team championship the past two seasons. The 2024 schedule will take LIV golfers to seven international sites and seven in the United States, but no Trump property is on the list,” Rick Maese wrote for the Washington Post on Wednesday.

This is obviously pretty brutal news for the former president as he has been a vocal advocate for the golf league in public and on social media, even appearing at several LIV Golf events over the past two years. But it doesn’t seem like LIV Golf is willing to return the favor and host events at Trump’s courses this week.

People were quick to offer their reactions to the former president’s brutal news.

It’s worth noting that there are still three open spots on the schedule and there is still a chance that one of Trump’s courses is chosen for one of those events. But it’s still bad news for Trump that his courses weren’t chosen in the initial announcement.
