It’s no secret that former United States President Donald Trump is an avid golfer and it is safe to assume he has found some success on the links and made some impressive shots given the number of times he’s golfed throughout his life – not to mention the number of golf courses he owns. But a recent claim by the former president is just a little bit too wild to believe.
This week, Donald Trump was asked about one specific and extremely rare golf accomplishment: the ace. And Trump claimed that not only has he sunk a hole in one, he’s done it an absolutely unbelievable number of times.
“How many hole-in-ones have you had in your life?” the reporter asked the former president.
Trump responded confidently: “Seven.”
“Legitimately seven,” Trump claimed. “They’ll say ‘Oh wow.’ But I have legitimately had seven.”
Obviously, this is quite a bold claim considering professional golfers Robert Allenby and Hal Sutton are tied for the all-time record of holes-in-one in a lifetime on the PGA Tour with 10, and that stitchgolf.com gives an amateur golfer a 0.01% chance of hitting a hole in one.
As a result, there was no shortage of people expressing their disbelief.
Sure, seven is an impressive lie. But, it’s nothing compared to Trump’s former lover, Kim Jong-un, who according to North Korean press, claims to have hit 11 holes-in-one during his first round of golf in 1994. https://t.co/1hNn75Z14K

There’s no real way to verify Trump’s claim, so we’re going to have to just take his word for it. After all, he’s certainly never been the least bit dishonest before.
