If you’ve never heard of the brand “Supreme”, don’t worry, I haven’t either. But for some people, buying Supreme products is a bit of a religious experience, and they’ll do anything to get their hands on stuff with the logo on it, even a plain old brick. No, I’m not making that up.

Supreme began selling their Fall/Winter 2016 collection accessories yesterday, and one of them was a brick with their name on it, which went at retail for $30. They sold out almost immediately. And then, some of the bricks appeared on eBay for sale at… $1,000. A brick with a name imprinted in it will cost you a cool $1,000 just because of the brand name attached (photo via Uproxx).

But don’t worry, some other sellers are peddling the same brick for a much more reasonable cost… $150.

Be careful however, that if you do buy the brick on eBay and aren’t patient enough to wait for Supreme to push more bricks to market, you vet the seller first to make sure your precious paperweight isn’t destroyed by the time it arrives at your door.

I don’t get it either.
