Three-time Georgia Bulldogs All-American linebacker David Pollack served as a college football analyst for ESPN for over a decade before he was laid off this year. And now that he’s no longer with the network, he’s taking a pretty clear political stance.
On Thursday morning, David Pollack made a post on social media making it clear that he does not agree with transgender women competing in women’s sports.
“WOMEN’S SPORTS IS NOT
A TRANSFER PORTAL FOR
MEDIOCRE MALE ATHLETES
WHO COMPETE AS WOMEN,” Pollack said in his post on X, the social media website that was formerly known as Twitter.
“If you’re a #GirlDad, there is no way you want your babygirl competing against men. It isn’t fair, nor is it physically and mentally healthy. #SaveWomensSports,” Pollack continued in his post.
Pollack tagged a lengthy list of conservative public figures in his photo, presumably believing that they would agree with his stance. This including anti-trans activist Riley Gaines, former ESPN analyst Sage Steele, conservative sports personality Clay Travis along with Joe Rogan Ted Cruz, and the popular right-wing account “End Wokeness.”
Obviously, such a bold political statement caused quite a stir on social media as people offered their reactions to his words.
It’s weird that this is what you are worried about, the number of transgender athletes are far and few between.

Pollack has come a long way from claiming that he doesn’t post about politics on social media.
