Saturday night’s Pac-12 showdown between the Colorado Buffaloes and UCLA Bruins featured one of the best catches we’ve seen in college football all season.

Facing a third down late in the third quarter, UCLA quarterback Ethan Garbers found Logan Loya along the sideline. Loya made a one-handed catch that was originally ruled incomplete but overturned following the video replay.

It was an incredible play from the senior wideout to extend the drive, as UCLA later scored to take a 21-9 lead early in the fourth quarter.

Both the catch and footwork are incredible enough on their own. But combined, it makes for one of the best catches in recent memory.

One fan pointed out that Loya looked to do Nike’s famous Jumpman logo on the catch, which is correct.

Another compared Loya’s catch to one made by Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Jake Bozo (also from UCLA) a couple of weeks back.

Another fan pointed out the significance of the catch for UCLA, saying, “Ended up scoring a TD instead of punting with only a 5-pt lead. Huge catch. Like maybe saved Chip Kelly’s job huge.”

Gavin Carlson of The Daily Bruin said, “That is easily the greatest catch I’ve ever witnessed live in my life. Logan Loya that was ABSURD.”
