It’s hard to recall a time when a college football player entered a season with as much hype as Texas Longhorns quarterback Arch Manning, despite never having been an opening week starter before in his collegiate career.
With all the hype and noise surrounding him, it’s not hard to blame the young man for opting to keep his personal life private. Manning already has enough on his plate, as the Longhorns are opening their season on the road against the defending national champion Ohio State Buckeyes.
Even if the Longhorns had an easier start to the year, Manning would still be under intense scrutiny as he’s the nephew of legendary NFL quarterbacks Peyton and Eli Manning.
As eager as fans are to learn about Arch’s life behind the scenes, he is deciding to keep his off-field affairs private, unlike other star quarterbacks such as Johnny Manziel and Joe Burrow did in their college days.
Maning has already had to deal with a dating rumor involving him and former LSU Tigers gymnast Livvy Dunne, as well as one that connected him with Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader Kylie Dickson.
Both rumors are untrue, as each woman is in a high-profile and public relationship of her own.
In the meantime, fans will have to settle for keeping the focus on Manning’s on-field production, as he looks to get the Longhorns back to the national championship.
