The Tennessee Volunteers upset the Alabama Crimson Tide, 52-49, on Saturday in an instant SEC classic. The game featured a little bit of everything — even a puking player — with Alabama coming back from a 21-7 deficit to lead the game, only to miss a 50-yard game-winning kick with 15 seconds left.
Volunteers quarterback Hendon Hooker only needed two plays to position Tennessee for the game-winning kick, which was taken by kicker Chase McGrath as time expired. It was the Volunteers’ first win over the Crimson Tide in 16 years.
After the game, the Volunteers rubbed salt in the wound by playing a Tennessee-themed classic from the band “Alabama,” Dixieland Delight.

“Also, playing Dixieland Delight, a song about truck sex that takes place in Tennessee that is beloved by Alabama fans, is an especially salty touch,” Staples tweeted.

The CFB world was quick to react to the hilarious troll:
“Dixieland Delight being played at Neyland Stadium with that sea of orange is one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever witnessed in sports,” Dana Beers wrote.
“They’re playing Dixieland Delight?! The trolling is ELITE,” Parker Thune wrote.

“Vol fans adding insult to injury, celebrating on the field to the sound of Dixieland Delight. It’s a staple at Bryant-Denny, but the inspiration was a drive through Grainger County in East TN,” the Reddit college football account tweeted.
“Just as Dixieland Delight started up in Neyland. College football, you are perfect,” Brooke Parker wrote.
The Volunteers are next in action on Oct. 22nd when they host the Tennessee-Martin Skyhawks.
