The NCAA is looking into allegations that the Michigan Wolverines are cheating. According to reports, the Big Ten and NCAA are looking into allegations that the Wolverines are stealing other team’s signals.

ESPN’s Paul Finebum had another take on the situation. He thinks the NCAA is being a bit harsh on Harbaugh.

“It’s hard for me to imagine that the NCAA will be able to make a solid case. I sense that there’s some piling on here to Jim Harbaugh,” Finebaum said on ESPN’s Get Up. “If this had been someone else, this investigation probably would not have gotten to this point.”

Finebaum also thinks that this may push Harbaugh closer back to the NFL.

“I think he’s had enough of what this sport is really all about, the way it’s operated and the thin line that the NCAA uses to go after people,” Finebaum said. “Clearly, he is in their crosshairs.”

Although there are no sanctions against cheating unless the Wolverines are taping into another team’s headsets, it is, however, a bad look for not only the team but for him as well.

Harbaugh is just coming back from suspension a few weeks ago. So these new allegations do not shine a positive light on how Harbaugh runs his program, despite what Finebaum says.
