Fourth of July ended with some fireworks in the college football world.
Five-star wide receiver recruit Dakorien Moore, the third-best player in the class of 2025 per ESPN’s recruiting rankings, committed to the Oregon Ducks.
Moore made the announcement on his Instagram Live on Thursday evening.
Moore’s announcement came with a bit of controversy, as ESPN’s Pete Thamel posted then quickly deleted the news an hour before the wide receiver announced it, overshadowing the big moment a bit.
Moore chose the Ducks over the Ohio State Buckeyes, Texas Longhorns, and LSU Tigers, where he originally committed before re-opening his recruitment last year. He is the highest-rated recruit in the history of Oregon football.
Social media had a lot to say about the big commitment news.
