The No. 3 Michigan Wolverines’ 45-23 win over the No. 2 Ohio State Buckeyes Saturday made some history. While it was the second-straight win in that series for the Wolverines (but only their second in the last 10 games), it was their first win on the road in Columbus since 2000:

This game saw a lot of remarkable plays from the Wolverines. Here are a few of those:
On the day, Michigan running back Donovan Edwards dominated on the ground, rushing 22 times for 216 yards (9.8 yards per carry) and the two touchdowns seen above. Quarterback J.J. McCarthy completed 12 of 24 passes for 263 yards and three touchdowns with no interceptions while also rushing six times for 27 yards and a touchdown. Meanwhile, Ohio State quarterback C.J. Stroud completed 31 of 48 passes (64.6 percent) for 349 yards and two touchdowns, but also was picked twice.
The 12-0 Wolverines will now travel to Indianapolis for the Big Ten Championship Game next Saturday at 8 p.m. ET. There, they’ll face Purdue, Illinois, or Iowa. Regardless, they look to be in good shape for a berth in the College Football Playoff, while the 11-1 Buckeyes may now have to hope for some chaos elsewhere.
