Ohio State Buckeyes superstar wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. would be the clear-cut No. 1 wide receiver in the 2024 NFL Draft if he decided to declare, but he’s still leaving the door open for a potential return to Ohio State next season.
During an interview session on Thursday afternoon, Marvin Harrison Jr. said that he had still not decided whether he will play in the Cotton Bowl or declare for the NFL Draft, and he has no timeframe for when that decision will happen.
“Marvin Harrison Jr. has no timeframe in mind on a decision. The two biggest factors in his decision will be the desire to beat Michigan and also to win the Big Ten,” Tony Gerdeman of Buckeye Huddle said in a post on X, the social media website that was formerly known as Twitter.
“I want to beat the team up north and win a Big Ten Championship,” Harrison said of his decision to leave the door open for a potential return next season, according to Gerdeman.
If Harrison were to return to the Buckeyes next season, he would be playing with a new quarterback as former Ohio State Buckeyes starting quarterback Kyle McCord entered the NCAA transfer portal this week. Harrison and McCord were high school teammates before signing with Ohio State together.
