It’s no secret to anyone who has watched the Ohio State Buckeyes play so far this college football season that Marvin Harrison Jr. has emerged as arguably the top receiver in the entire country. And during Saturday afternoon’s game against the Indiana Hoosiers, Harrison showcased exactly what makes him so special with an absolutely insane catch on the sideline.
During the second quarter of Saturday afternoon’s game, Marvin Harrison Jr. ran a route toward the sideline and quarterback C.J. Stroud simply threw the ball up and hoped that his star receiver could make a play on the ball. And somehow, he did.
Even though all of Harrison’s momentum was taking him toward the sideline and it looked almost certain he was going to land out of bounds, Harrison somehow stuck his right leg out while keeping his left foot in the air, making an absolutely insane grab thanks to some ridiculous body control.
It was one of the most ridiculous catches of the entire college football season, and the college football world had plenty to say about it on Twitter.
Harrison is obviously the son of NFL Hall of Famer Marvin Harrison. And he certainly made his father proud with that catch on Saturday.
