On Saturday afternoon, Florida State Seminoles superstar quarterback Jordan Travis had to be carted off the field and put in an air cast after suffering a gruesome leg injury which will end his season. But it sounds like he’s keeping a positive outlook despite the tough circumstances.
Following his devastating injury, Jordan Travis took to social media to share a positive and upbeat message to fans and the college football community, thanking everyone for the support.
“Hey, what’s up, y’all, it’s Jordan, just wanted to know I’m doing good,” the Florida State star quarterback said on his Instagram story from the hospital according to On3. “I’m feeling good. I got a smile on my face. It’s gonna follow God’s plan, man and God has a journey for me and I’m gonna trust him every step of the way. I appreciate y’all for the messages. Go ‘Noles.”
Unfortunately for Travis, the injury will end his season as well as his ability to help try to lead Florida State to the College Football Playoff.
He finishes the season with 2,756 yards through the air along with 20 touchdowns and two interceptions with a 63.9% completion percentage. He also had 176 rushing yards and seven rushing touchdowns.
