In the SEC when they say it just means more, they mean it. Former Tennessee quarterback Erik Ainge slammed Georgia quarterback Stetson Bennett.
Ainge, who hosts his own radio show, went IN on the Georgia quarterback.
“You know who I can’t stand though? Stetson Bennett,” said former Tennessee quarterback Monday on “The Erik Ainge Show.” “It was cute when he first got to play and played pretty good. And now the whole like ‘I’m a walk-on, I’m a JUCO transfer’… he’s like 28-3 as a starter at Georgia, or something like that.”

Bennett’s story is well known that he was a walk-on that had beaten out a five-star recruit to become the starter for the Bulldogs but apparently, Ainge was not impressed by Bennett and doesn’t like him at all.
In fact, Ainge said he’d be pulling hard against Bennett and the Bulldogs Monday in the national championship game.
“I’m cheering hard,” Ainge had said when he was asked if he’ll be cheering against Bennett on Monday. “I want Georgia not just to lose the game, I don’t want them to lose with Stetson Bennett throwing four touchdowns. I want Stetson Bennett to throw four picks and cost his team a championship.”
Ainge added, “He’s such a punk.”
Ainge may be holding a grudge against Bennett because it was the Bulldogs who derailed the Vols’ undefeated season back in November defeating them 27-13.
