Since Deion Sanders has become the head coach of the Colorado Buffalos, he’s made no secret that he likes to do things a little differently than other coaches in college football, and he made that very clear once again last week.

Deion Sanders has not been shy about his plan to build the Colorado Buffalos roster through the transfer portal. He already made a few notable transfer portal additions back in the winter, and now he’s sending an absolutely brutal message to his team that he’s not done yet.

Last week, before the spring transfer portal window opened, Sanders made it clear that Colorado will be pursuing more players from the transfer portal. As a result, that means he’ll be pushing some members of his team out.

“The team that we’re playing with now is not the team that we’re going to play with in Texas the first game (at TCU in Week 1),” Sanders said last week according to On3. “Do I need to say any more? It’s gonna be a lot of new faces, a lot of new attitudes, a lot of new understandings and a lot of new wants and desires and you’ve got to have it.”

The brutal message went viral on social media with plenty of people reacting to it.

We’ll have to see how this plan works out for him.
