Colorado and Oregon are teed up to face each other in a few hours. However, before the game began, fireworks emanated from Eugene, Oregon. CU players decided that they would do so without much decorum when they took the field at Autzen Stadium.

The Buffaloes appeared to gather at midfield on the giant ‘O.’ This kind of behavior isn’t so shocking as it is brazen. We’ve seen this happen before. Colorado players, namely Shedeur Sanders, didn’t take kindly to Nebraska players descending on the CU logo in Boulder.

The shoe is now on the other foot, though. As Bryson T. Young pointed out, “Listen, I’m not in Oregon’s locker room anymore, but this is the type of **** that fires me up. That O represents a ton of hard work, sacrifice, and success from so many people. Walking over/raking up an opponent’s logo shows ero class. #goducks Enough said.”

There are plenty of fireworks to go around here as the anticipation mounts for this game. Both the Ducks and the Buffaloes are 3-0 and are set for their Pac-12 openers. The game has gotten massive attention all week from the media, and a big audience is expected, both for television and at Autzen Stadium. Kickoff is at 3:30 p.m. Eastern and will air on ABC.

The college football world reacted to the Colorado-Oregon encounter.
