The USC Trojans did not particularly dominate the Colorado Buffaloes during last weekend’s game, allowing Deion Sanders’ squad to stay in the game and make it close at the end. But it sounds like star quarterback Caleb Williams has other plans for this weekend’s game against the Arizona Wildcats.
During his press conference this week, Caleb Williams made it clear that he wants to see the USC Trojans dominate when they’re on offense this Saturday.
“When we get out shots we have to execute, we have to be consistent and we gotta go out there and dominate and kill,” Williams said according to On3.
USC has something to prove in the coming weeks after its ranking has slipped despite a 5-0 record. And Williams thinks the team can prove itself with its physicality on the field.
“We have to be the most physical team on the field at that time and in the country this week and weeks on out,” Williams said. “I’d say that’s the mindset.”
USC had a particularly tough schedule ahead throughout the rest of the season with games against Notre Dame, Utah, Oregon, and Washington remaining on the schedule. If they truly are one of the most dominant teams in the country, they’re going to have a chance to prove it.
