Angel Reese always makes it pretty clear how she feels about a situation.
The LSU Tigers star led her team to victory in the 2023 Women’s National Title Game on Sunday night, dispatching Caitlin Clark and the Iowa Hawkeyes.
Before the game was over, Reese found Clark and pointed at her ring finger before giving her the “you can’t see me” gesture, something Clark had done in a previous game. That move generated a lot of discussion around the sports world, but Reese didn’t back down from the criticism.
A day later, Jill Biden floated the possibility that along with LSU, the Iowa women’s basketball team should also make a visit to the White House to meet with President Joe Biden. However, that notion was met with some pretty strong dissension from the college basketball world.
Driving home how much it was disliked, Reese herself shared a two-word response to the idea.
“A JOKE,” wrote Reese on Twitter, along with some laugh-crying emojis.

It’s hard to imagine that the White House will actually invite Iowa as well. It’s tradition for the champion to visit and meet with the President. And there’s no real valid reason why Iowa deserves a chance to visit as well, just as the TCU football team won’t be accompanying the Georgia Bulldogs when they make their visit.
