The extremely hyped Floyd Mayweather-Conor McGregor fight finally took place on Saturday night in Las Vegas (despite some PPV chaos), and ended with Mayweather victorious, as everyone expected.
However, McGregor actually made the fight more competitive than most pundits expected, before running out of gas in the late rounds. In the 10th round, the referee finally decided to call the fight after a few Mayweather blows left McGregor stumbling in the ring.

Mayweather admitted that McGregor — who had previously been an MMA fighter — was better than he expected.
Mayweather, now 50-0, said “this is my last fight tonight.”
Uh huh. We’ll see about that. The better bet is that we’ll have a Mayweather-McGregor rematch.
