Juan Soto just mashed another home run. The New York Yankees’ prized offseason acquisition has lived up to the hype and then some thus far. Soto has dazzled for the first-place Yankees and has been instrumental to their success.

Part of that success has come via the long ball. Soto homered yet again Sunday and put on a thunderous display of his home-run hitting prowess.

Soto smoked one off left-hander Blake Snell that landed in the seats in right field! It wasn’t quite a splash down, but it was a majestic home run nonetheless.

Soto’s impressive home run was his 16th this season. Teammate Aaron Judge recently took the MLB lead in home runs as the 2022 American League Most Valuable Player already has belted 21 home runs in 2024. 16 will tie him with Cleveland Guardians star Jose Ramirez for fourth in the AL and fifth in MLB behind Judge, Kyle Tucker, Gunnar Henderson, Marcell Ozuna, and Ramirez.

Soto and the Yankees hope to win a World Series in October. They lead the AL East through the first two months of the season and have begun to really dig their feet into it. They lead the Baltimore Orioles by 2.5 games entering play on Sunday afternoon. Third-place Boston is already 11 games behind.

The MLB world had much to say over Juan Soto and his mesmerizing home run.
