Wyatt Langford just made one of the best plays of the entire Major League Baseball season.
The Texas Rangers hosted the San Diego Padres this week, and on Thursday, the two teams went at it in a Fourth of July matinee. In the second inning, Padres infielder
Ha-Seong Kim hit one that nearly went out of the ballpark.
And we say nearly because Langford singlehandedly made sure that didn’t happen.
This is just an absolutely incredible play. Effort, timing, athleticism, and everything in between. A 0-0 game, early on, is the only environmental factor preventing this from being even more awesome.
The sports world went bananas after seeing Wyatt Langford and his incredible home run robbery.
Langford went on to make ANOTHER dazzling defensive play later. So, this is just his day today.
