Jorge Soler just hit the furthest-hit home run of the season, and it was a rocket.
The San Francisco Giants slugger mashed one out over the fence at Coors Field, where the ball does tend to travel. And it traveled really far for Soler.
478 feet, to be exact.
Soler is one of the more prolific home run hitters in MLB. It’s why he’s been such a valuable piece over the years for several teams, including the Atlanta Braves, who he won a World Series with in 2021. Soler was insturmental during htat run, slugging multiple home runs in the postseason, including during the World Series.
Fans raved over the moonshot home run after Soler sent it well over the fence.

that’s the Giants’ 2nd-longest HR under Statcast (2015), behind only Alex Dickerson’s 480 ft on 9/1/20, also at COL https://t.co/UxABcpuRrV
