The NCAA transfer portal is active. Coaching changes have caused another influx of transfers this offseason. Among them now include players from the University of Arizona. Wildcats head coach Jedd Fisch left for the Washington Huskies, popping open the door for players to leave if they wanted to. One player has already emerged to do just that.
Defensive back Ephesians Prysock entered the transfer portal. On3’s Hayes Fawcett reported that Prysock, who will have two years of eligibility remaining, will jump into the portal.
“Arizona DB Ephesians Prysock plans to enter the Transfer Portal,” Fawcett said. Fawcett reported the news on X, the website formerly known as Twitter.
In two seasons, as Fawcett broke down, Prysock was a productive player. He recorded 80 total tackles, seven passes defended, and grabbed one interception while he played in Tucson.
Prysock will likely fetch plenty of suitors. He’ll have two years of eligibility remaining, so Prysock won’t just be at his next stop for one year (assuming he won’t enter the transfer portal again). Whoever will get him will get continuity and a really strong ballplayer.
The transfer portal market continues to heat up as the offseason trollies on. Don’t expect that to settle down either, as a swath of moves could still be coming soon. That’s just the way it is now.
