This XFL season, the Orlando Guardians are off to quite a rough start, losing their first game by a score of 33-12 and their second game by a score of 30-12. And as it turns out, there might be a shocking explanation for why the team has been struggling this season.
According to a report from NFL social media personality Dov Kleiman, Orlando Guardians quarterback Quinten Dormady has been released after he allegedly shared plays from the playbook with an opposing team.
“Story: The Guardians of the #XFL cut QB Quinten Dormady after he allegedly gave an opposing team plays from the Guardians playbook. The team heard about it, investigated, and released Dormady. They also removed his stats from the XFL website,” Kleiman said in a tweet on Friday morning.
It would certainly be a wild turn of events if he was intentionally sharing plays to sabotage his team, but NFL insider Benjamin Allbright has another theory.
“They all live together. Probably was just talking about plays with another QB and it got out,” Allbright said in a tweet.

Either way, it’s not a good look for Dormady and the XFL world had plenty to say about it on Twitter.
It’s safe to say this probably marks the end of his professional football career.
