Donald Trump has been a busy man since returning to the Oval Office. After defeating Democratic candidate Joe Biden in last November’s Presidential election, Trump has signed an array of executive orders and even renamed “The Gulf of Mexico” to “The Gulf of America.”

Trump has also threatened trade tariffs on a number of foreign countries. One of those countries is Canada, which has resulted in Canadians booing the American National Anthem, “The Star-Spangled Banner,” at sporting events.

The Canadians did so again in Toronto at the WWE Elimination Chamber, according to Awful Announcing.

Former NFL player and the host of ESPN’s The Pat McAfee Show, Pat McAfee, was in attendance for the event as a part of the broadcast team. And even in light of Trump’s threats to Canada, he stood with his country and President, unhappy with the disrespect that was being shown to the anthem.

“Kind of sucks that it’s in the terrible country of Canada, which booed our national anthem to start this entire thing, but it’s going to be a historic night for the WWEm,” McAfee said after the disrespect.

It wasn’t the only time McAfee mentioned the booing, either.

“They booed the national anthem, they’re going to need to stop doing that, or the whole place is going to be [expletive].”

It’ll be interesting to see how long tensions remain high between the two countries.’
