San Francisco 49ers tight end was the center of attention on Saturday night. But there was no football game being played. It was WrestleMania. And while Kittle wasn’t in a match, he was involved.
Kittle helped former NFL player and current talk show host and WWE commentator, Pat McAfee, win a match.
Before the night’s main event, a tag match pitting Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn against The Usos, McAfee and The Miz squared off in an impromptu match, which was made official by Snoop Dogg. During that match, Miz shoved Kittle, who was sitting ringside.
Kittle responded by clotheslining the two-time WWE champion. That distraction helped set McAfee up for a top rope dive that eventually led to his victory.
Wrestling fans and football fans alike were buzzing at Kittle’s involvement. They were not alone.
Not long after the match, Kittle took to Twitter and said that he was “still dreaming.”
Those in both the NFL and WWE world were thrilled that Kittle — a longtime WWE fan — got to live out one of his dreams.
What a thrill for you
