LeBron James’ mysterious tweet amuses NBA fans

The Los Angeles Lakers had been viewed as the favorites to land Kyrie Irving.

"Lakers fans thinking they were getting Kyrie Irving for Russell Westbrook in the offseason and at the trade deadline is hilarious."

The Nets dealt the controversial All-Star starter on Sunday to the Dallas Mavericks in exchange for two players and multiple future draft picks.

The Lakers are reportedly in pursuit of Kyrie Irving, and might trade Russell Westbrook as part of that.

James famously played alongside Irving for three seasons from 2014-2016 while both were on the Cleveland Cavaliers.
