In the second half of Toronto F.C.’s MLS match against Atlanta United on Sunday, Jozy Altidore pushed a nifty goal past Brad Guzan to tie the score at 1.

It was a pretty nice play from the accomplished Toronto forward, but not everyone was impressed. As Altidore was celebrating his goal, he was forced to dodge a beer thrown by an apparently grumpy Atlanta fan. The 27-year-old veteran seemed to take the harassment in stride… as did teammate Sebastian Giovinco, who strolled over, picked up the plastic cup and took a swig.

Check it out:

Stadium beer is already gross enough, but stadium beer that has been sipped, spilled, thrown and picked off the ground sounds basically unbearable. But maybe when you’ve been running around a soccer pitch anything seems potable.

Atlanta United and Toronto F.C. wound up drawing 2-2, with Toronto’s second score coming on an 84th-minute goal from Giovinco. Apparently the booze didn’t hit him too hard.
