Taylor Swift has been out of the headlines recently, as she and her boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce (who recently announced that he would be returning to play for the Chiefs for the 2025 season, have been enjoying some time to themselves after what was a long 2024 for the couple.
However, it looks like Swift is thinking about making her return to the limelight in a major way.
Known for her musical talents as one of the biggest pop singers across the globe, Swift is eyeing roles in a major Hollywood films, according to one Hollywood insider.
She is looking at not only a role in a major sci-fi film, but also a superhero movie.
“I hear Taylor Swift is going back to acting and trying to find the right project,” reported Daniel Richtman.
“She talked to studios about starring in a limited series for streaming and a big sci-fi film. Also a superhero role.”
It’s worth noting that this wouldn’t be Swift’s first foray into acting. She previously appeared in Amsterdam, as well as Cats (2019), and The Giver (2012). She also voice acted a character in The Lorax (2012), and starred in Valentine’s Day in 2010.
It’ll be interesting to see what kind of role Swift decides to take if she follows through with the move. It’s also possible Kelce will star in a movie alongside her, as he has started to get into acting as well.
