Much has been made about the romantic relationship between North Carolina Tar Heels head coach Bill Belichick and the much younger Jordon Hudson. The relationship has made headlines over the last few months for several reasons, including Hudson seemingly censoring all content surrounding her relationship with the 73-year-old Belichick.
Now, Hudson is making headlines for comparing the “work” she does for Belichick to that of Tree Paine, the longtime publicist for global pop music sensation Taylor Swift.
“I love that you said that I’m like Bill’s Tree Paine because I am,” Hudson reportedly said to reporter Charlotte Wilder in an appearance on an episode of The Sports Gossip Show, per Page Six.
“Everybody loved Bill’s media presence before they found out that I was behind it,” Hudson continued.
Fans reacted to Hudson’s comparison on social media.
“It’s certainly not on par with Spygate, but shame on Bill Belichick for foisting this very dull (woman) into the public eye,” one fan wrote on Twitter.
“The funniest part of this whole thing to me is the ridiculous notion that Belichick did anything other than start Tom Brady at QB for 18 years. He was a bad coach before Brady and a bad coach after. Stop caring what this fraud does,” one fan added.
“She is a bigger narcissist than her elderly boyfriend,” another person wrote.
It’ll be interesting to see if the off-the-field distractions from Hudson and Belichick have any effect on the Tar Heels’ season on the field.
