The following contains spoilers from the Jeopardy! episode airing on Tuesday, June 4.

Sitting at home as a viewer, it’s easy to second guess the contestants on Jeopardy! or Wheel of Fortune when they miss a category you would find easy.

On Tuesday’s Jeopardy!, however, the category of 21st Century Sports proved too daunting for the trio, as nearly every clue in the category was either met with silence or an incorrect response.

A clue about which MLB team became the first to have 10,000 franchise losses in 2007 before winning the World Series in 2008, for example, had an incorrect response before the other two contestants passed and the correct response was revealed to be the Philadelphia Phillies.

While the Cubs have also lost 10,000 games, they didn’t cross the mark until 2014 and didn’t win the 2008 World Series behind Cole Hamels (who would later pitch for the Cubs) and Ryan Howard.

Maybe they just weren’t fans of baseball, though. Let’s check another response.

The transfer portal has been one of the most-discussed things in college athletics in the past five years, surely the contestants are aware of that.

Wrong. No guesses, no one even wants to make an attempt. Sports aren’t everyone’s cup of tea but these are layups.

Speaking of layups, the category finished with a basketball clue. Maybe that broke the streak of bad luck.

It did not. While Kevin Durant played with Russell Westbrook with the Oklahoma City Thunder, the picture is clearly Westbrook, who would likely have a lot to say to contestant Adrianna if he ever found out she confused him and Durant.

Adrianna is unlikely to care much, though. She held on for her fifth straight victory and secured a spot in this season’s Tournament of Champions.
