The nation is in shock on Tuesday night as Donald Trump looks like the favorite to become the President of the United States, after being considered a long shot to beat Hillary Clinton in the election.
Naturally, many disappointed disgusted Americans immediately had thoughts of leaving the country… so much so that Canada’s immigration and citizenship website crashed (as the above photo shows), according to ABC 7 in Los Angeles:
The website with instructions on how to become a Canadian citizen crashed Tuesday night as Donald Trump appeared to close in on a victory.
Visitors were met with a long wait and eventually an error message telling viewers that there was a problem with the server.
There was no official word from the Canadian government about the outage.
The website crash surely was assisted by this tweet from Canada’s official account that took a not-so-subtle dig at Trump on Tuesday night:
