Pop superstar Adele is the latest musician to tell GOP Presidential candidate Donald Trump to stop using her music.
Trump, who’s apparently a big Adele fan, had been using her songs, including Rolling in the Deep and Skyfall, at rallies, and that’s not cool with the 27-year-old Brit. Via Entertainment Weekly…
“Adele has not given permission for her music to be used for any political campaigning, a represenative for Adele told EW”
Adele was perhaps tipped off my a number of Twitter users who were baffled at Trump’s choice to include Adele.
Adele playing at the end of the Trump rally is the weirdest part

Adele would probably not be cool about "rolling in the deep" playing at the trump rally right now

Clearly she was bothered, and she’s not the only one to feel this wya.
The list of musicians who have told Trump to stop using their music include Steven Tyler, Neil Young, and Michael Stipe, the latter of whom told Trump’s people they could “go fuck yourselves.”
Adele’s message isn’t as strongly worded, but it seems pretty clear she doesn’t want her music named in association with Trump. I don’t understand why Trump would want to use Skyfall, as the lyrics don’t exactly lend themselves well to a political campaign.
This is the end
Hold your breath and count to ten
Feel the earth move and then
Hear my heart burst againFor this is the end
I’ve drowned and dreamt this moment
So overdue I owe them
Swept away, I’m stolenLet the sky fall
When it crumbles
We will stand tall
Face it all togetherTrump may have struck out with Adele, but at least he’s got Twisted Sister.
