It’s hard to argue there are two individuals serving as bigger cultural forces in America right now than President-elect Donald Trump and tech billionaire Elon Musk. Musk has become a cultural icon after the purchase of the popular social media website Twitter.
Musk is also celebrating the success of his companies Tesla and SpaceX. Trump a billionaire in his own right is preparing to return to the Oval Office in November.
The pair are even working together these days, as Trump named Musk to his administration as an efficiency expert after Musk assisted him on the campaign trail heading into November’s Presidential election.
Trump previously stood firm by Musk amid rumors and reports that the pair were starting to come to odds with one another. Since then, Musk has even spent time with one of Trump’s grandchildren. However, it looks like the pair’s relationship is finally beginning to fray.
One News account on Twitter broke some extremely interesting news. “Trump Privately Complains About Clingy Elon Musk: NYT Reporter,” reported Newswire on Twitter.
People reacted to the shocking news on social media. Not everyone was very surprised by the falling out.
“This is gonna be one of the greatest crash outs in history,” one person wrote on Twitter. This person clearly expects Trump to lose his cool soon.
“Old money NYC billionaire doesn’t like new money 53 year old billionaire that acts and talks like a 12 year old child. Color me shocked,” one person added. Obviously, not everyone is surprised with how this is going.
“what universally hated change is elon gonna make to twitter when he crashes out over this,” another person added. It seems not everyone is happy with how Elon is running things.
“hard to think of many things that were more obviously gonna happen than this was gonna happen,” wrote someone else. People not being surprised seems to be a recurring theme.
“im normally not one to comment on politics much but this is genuinely the funniest [expletive] ever,” one person added. Some people are amused by the state of the country.
It’ll be interesting to see what it means for Trump’s administration if things continue to unravel. If the pair end their friendship it’s worth wondering what it’ll mean for Trump’s administration.
