Superstar gymnast Simone Biles has plenty of hardware, collecting seven Olympic gold medals throughout her gymnastics career. But the most recent addition to her precious metals collection is definitely her most important – her wedding ring.
This weekend, Simone Biles officially tied the knot with her longtime beau, as the gymnast and Houston Texans safety Jonathan Owens officially got married, they both announced on social media Saturday afternoon.
“I do,” Simone Biles said in a tweet on Saturday afternoon.
“Officially Owens,” Biles said, noting her new last name.
“My person forever,” Jonathan Owens added in his own post, adding the hashtags #TheOwens and #itsofficial.
Obviously, both of them are superstar athletes with Simone Biles emerging as one of the top female athletes in the world in gymnastics and Jonathan Owens playing in the NFL since the 2018 season, when he made the Arizona Cardinals as an undrafted free agent.
The posts quickly went absolutely viral on social media as plenty of fans from around the country reached out to send the newlyweds their congratulations.

The couple has been dating since August of 2020 and became engaged back in February of 2022, so the wedding was a long time coming for both of them.
