The Toronto Maple Leafs came away victorious in a must-win Game 3 of their first-round series against the Boston Bruins, and the play of goaltender Frederik Andersen was the main reason why.
Andersen stopped 40 of 42 Boston shots on goal, and none of them — probably in his entire hockey career — were better than this save.
That’s an absolutely unbelievable play and as good as it gets in the save department.
The Leafs will look to even up the series at 2-2 when they play Game 4 on Thursday night in Toronto.
