Brock Boeser is having himself a weekend.
After losing to Boston University in double overtime in the NCAA Hockey Tournament Friday night, former North Dakota right winger Boeser signed with the Vancouver Canucks Saturday morning. On Saturday night, Boeser laced up his skates and made his debut, scoring against the Minnesota Wild.

Boeser was the 23rd pick in the 2015 NHL draft but couldn’t sign with the Canucks until his college career was officially over. Once North Dakota lost in thrilling fashion and Boeser was free from the amateur world, he immediately agreed to get paid for playing hockey. And the way it looked, Boeser didn’t miss a beat. Seems like he is going to fit in just fine in Vancouver.
