Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger and New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady met up before the Steelers-Patriots game this past Sunday at Heinz Field, and Showtime’s Inside the NFL caught the very cool footage.

Roethlisberger — sidelined after having surgery for a torn meniscus — told Brady how much he wished he could be out there playing, and then had a request for Brady:

“I’ve never done this before, but I would love to get a jersey at some point,” Roethlisberger said, as captured by Showtime’s Inside The NFL. He added, “There’s not many that I want in my office. You’re the best, dude.”

Brady was quick to oblige to Roethlisberger’s request. It’s interesting to wonder whether this would’ve happened if Big Ben was healthy. Either way, it’s nice to know that NFL quarterbacks have respect for one another.
