Generally speaking it is a good idea to know where the snap is coming from if you’re an NFL quarterback. That might sound like a no-brainer, but if you watched Bills/Rams yesterday, you would have seen that it’s not a given.

However, it was one of the more difficult tasks for Buffalo Bills quarterback Tyrod Taylor on Sunday. That’s because he went to take a shotgun snap, but decided to take said snap while lined up behind left guard and not center.

Luckily for him, he had the athletic ability to recover the ball as it went flying past him on the snap.

All it cost the Bills was 18 yards and just a few plays later, Buffalo converted on a third-and-long. No harm, no foul, right? The Bills would go on to win 30-19 over the Los Angeles Rams, though it wasn’t Taylor’s best game, statistically. He finished just 12 of 23 for 142 yards, though he did sling a pair of touchdowns in the win.

We may have just seen the best blooper of 2016, but let’s hope something can top it. Because if there’s something better, it’ll be hilarious.
